The Kharadron Overlords have a batch of reinforcements on the way and they’ve landed in our studio for a closer look.

In case you missed it, the Kharadron Overlords have some new models coming to pre-order this weekend. Well, we’ve got them in the studio built and ready for their fleet inspection. Here come the new recruits in search of all that aether-gold.

Null-Khemist

Up first we have the Null-Khemist. This Kharadron Scientist has gnarly new rules that are sure to make them a big splash on the tabletop. Mixing in lots of anti-magic to shore up any defenses against the dark arts for your sky-fleet.

Personally, I like the look of this miniature. The fact that they are basically in this space suit and it’s anti-magic is cool. I like the ornate details as they look more like a deep sea explorer or astronaught to me.

Vongrim Harpoon Crew

This is a feisty crew of misfits of the Vongrim Guild. We only got the two build for pictures but there’s five in a unit. They can also be built as Vongrim Salvagers, too. I like their modularity but I also like how well they work together. Both the Vongrim Harpoon Crew and Salvagers have some interesting rules to match. I think they are fine additions to the fleet.

Zontari Endrin Dock

The new Zontari Endrin Dock is there to help your fleet with battlefield repairs. It comes with a few drones to help out, too.

I like the simple execution of this model. It’s certainly got a bit of a TARDIS-vibe. I can totally see it being a drone controller unit — and that’s really what it is. I also like the look of the drones. They need someone to “pilot” them remotely but they are unmanned otherwise. Overall, it’s a great new tool for the Kharadron Overlords to use.

The Kharadron Overlords are up for pre-order this weekend from Games Workshop!
