Black Friday is upon us once more – and if you’re looking to snag some amazing RPGs, from D&D to Fabula Ultima, look right here!
Black Friday is upon us once again. And though the slavering maw of consumerism opens wide, the brave, the daring, and those who pay attention to what price things are during the rest of the year as opposed to right now, can snatch incredible deals from within its piercing fangs. Don’t be caught off-guard by the name; Black Friday deals often stretch through Monday and well into December. But don’t let that lull you into false complacency either.
What I’m trying to say is that if you’re looking for Black Friday RPG deals, this is the post where we’ll talk about some of the things you can save big on, including some D&D stuff, sure. But I’m personally excited by some of the deals on Fabula Ultima, the ALIEN RPG, and a name I haven’t heard in quite some time: Mage: The Ascension. Which, full disclosure, I picked up with the grand intention of trying to relive the days before the world was broken. Who knows if it’ll be successful! But that’s what this weekend is all about. On to the deals!
The RPG Black Friday Deals Roundup
It wouldn’t be Black Friday if D&D Beyond didn’t throw some kind of deal around. And lo and behold here is the D&D Beyond Black Friday sales page. You can save big on a few things, and save medium on many things. This one is a little bit of a crapshoot, because there’s no guarantee that the thing you want will be on sale – but if you’re looking for some sweet deals, you might find something rewarding here.

The same can be said for Free League – though Free League offers even bigger discounts on “select titles”. You can save, for instance, up to 80% off, but most likely you will only end up saving 40% (which is still huge) on most things. Including core rulebooks for things like The One Ring RPG, or the new Dragonbane core rulebook, or the updated and more angsty Things from the Flood expansion for Tales from the Loop.

Modiphius, likewise has some pretty sweet Black Friday deals. You’ll find again, a solid 40% off of most titles, including the new Star Trek Adventures: Second Edition core rulebook, which I cannot recommend enough, and the Fallout RPG core rulebook. Or take the Captain’s Log solo play expansion for a discounted tour of duty.
But the big savings are on “select titles” although this time it includes some bigger things, like the Dune: Adventures in the Imperium Agents of Dune Deluxe Starter Set, which you can snag for under $15. Definitely worth checking out if you want to get ready for Dune 3 (or Dun3 as some [me] are calling it).

What if you have enough RPG books and want some delicious miniatures instead? Well don’t worry, WizKids has you covered. You can save big on big models, with 50% off of many minis, including some of the ones that stretch the credible definition of “miniature” like the Gargantuan Tiamat or the Gargantuan Bahamut. Or just pick up some Icons of the Realm or Star Trek miniatures and call it a savings day.

Itch.io is having its big Creator Day and Black Friday sale coterminously, which is huge. What this means is that itch.io isn’t taking their cut of sales made today – and you have until Midnight US-Pacific Time tonight to help your favorite indie creators score big. If you like an Indie RPG odds are good it’s on itch.io, where you can save big on titles like Lancer, Mythic Bastionland, and Wanderhome.

And then there’s the DriveThruRPG Black Friday deal, which lasts for the next 10 DAYS. That’s fine, words don’t actually have meaning, but the savings do. You can save on many different titles right now. Including:
- Cyberpunk RED
- Mage: The Ascension
- Ashes Without Number
- Ironsworn: Starforged
- The Marvel Multiverse RPG
- Fabula Ultima
And that’s not to mention the amazing bundles you can find right now. Again, you have time – but it is constantly ticking down. So check out the link below for one of the most comprehensive Black Friday RPG deals out there.
What are you going to add to your collection and never play? And which of these titles might you actually give a go?
