“Another 12 months have passed and we’ve been graced by another year of absolutely fantastic miniatures from Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and beyond. Judging from the preview just gone, we’re going to be kicking off 2026 with some awesome new miniatures too, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves – it’s time for you all to join together and vote for your favourite miniatures of the year. “

Vote Now For Miniature of 2025!

This vote has a few layers to it. And by layers I mean categories. There are three to be exact: Warhammer 40,000 (including Kill Team), Warhammer Age of Sigmar (including Underworlds), and then everything else (Horus Heresy, Old World, Necromunda, etc.). So, while there are some categories to break things up there’s still some tough competition within those brackets.

I’m not going to pretend to know all of the miniatures that were released this year off the top of my head. There were a LOT. It’s kind of what GW does best: Produce a whole bunch of awesome plastic miniatures.

In fact, I’m trying to think of the armies and sub-categories that were released this year. We had Fulgrim and the Emperor’s Children. We had Aeldari Phoenix Lords, Leagues of Votann, Space Wolves and more. Shoot, the Kill Team releases could be their own thing.

For Age of Sigmar we basically got the entire Helsmiths of Hashut range (so far) as well as the whole new Gitmobs of the Gloomspite Gitz. That’s basically two armies worth of miniatures to choose from — and that feels like we’re just scratching the surface!

On top of that, the “other” category has some absolutely amazing miniatures to battle over, too. The entire Grand Cathy army, the Saturnine miniatures, there’s a bunch of Mechanicum miniatures, the Necromunda minis, and don’t forget about Blood Bowl, too!

Seriously, there’s a plethora of options here. So yeah, I’m kind of glad that GW split this up into 3 categories. Really, it feels like they could of had at least 5…but whatever. You get the point! So get in there and cast your vote for the miniature of the year 2025!
