General Grievous is here with a brand new ride. Come check out the General and his fancy Wheel Bike for Star Wars: Legion!
Forget a hamster wheel or a treadmill. What you really need is a full on Bot-Cycle! The cunning General Grievous has a new ride and he’s ready to claim even more Jedi Lightsabers with it. Today, I’m taking a look inside the box! Thanks to Atomic Mass Games sending me a review copy I can show case all the goodies for this cold blooded commander.
I honestly don’t know how practical this vehicle design would be for real life, but hey, these droids are from long time ago in a galaxy far, far away!
Grievous’ TSMEU-6 Wheel Bike Unboxed
Busting open the box we’ve got the same contents we’ve all come to expect. What I wasn’t expecting was how many sprues were included this time. More on that below. Anyhow, we’ve got a bag for the base, one for the sprues, and another for the cards included. Speaking of cards…
Most of the Separatist cards are available for download from AMG. However, I didn’t see these cards for the new Unit here for General Grievous. Anyhow, he’s clocking in at 150 points with the Wheel Bike now. And you can see the stats on him in the image above. He’s got the Turbo-Charge upgrade and 3 order cards, too. Overall, he seems pretty mean! Couple him with some of the upcoming Wheel Bikers and he’s going to be pretty terrifying.
As far as the sprues go, he comes in three different sets. Honestly, it makes sense once you take a closer look. The Wheel Bike is pretty large (relatively speaking) so it’s going to need some space on those sprues. The body of the wheel is basically one whole sprue of bits while the “wheel” part is another. Then you’ve got all the parts for Grievous himself, too. I did want to point out that Grievous does come with a few different weapon options besides lightsabers. But c’mon. Who are we kidding?! It’s Lightsabers all the way for this Jedi Hunter!
This kit looks more complex than some of the other Star Wars: Legion kits — as it should! Grievous is a lot of machine and it’s super detailed. Honestly, I’m pretty impressed with the kit overall. Most of the Separatists army isn’t really my jam as I don’t particularly care for the Battle Droids. That said, I really like this miniature and I’m tempted to just build and paint it because it’s that cool.
General Grievous and his new Wheel Bike are out now and in stores. Snag him if you can catch this one!
Star Wars: Legion – General Grievous’ TSMEU-6 Wheel Bike $59.99
General Grievous’s rank has never kept him off the battlefield. Truly, Grievous may even be too eager to be behind the controls of any vehicle he can use to barrage through the battlefield. However, no vehicle is better suited for his ferocious tactics than the TSMEU-6 Wheel Bike. Rugged and agile, the wheel bike allows Grievous to cut a path through his foes.
