T.O.G. Entertainment announces change in POP Display Packaging for SSFBCG

In an effort to make it easier for retailers to carry the Shattered Sword product line in their stores we have changed the packaging on our Reinforcement Packs. Originally we had intended to release the 12 card Reinforcement Packs in POP display boxes of 36 each. We have now made those Reinforcement POP Display boxes contain just 12 Reinforcement Packs. This will make it easier for the retail stores to stock the product line.

As we develop a race for SSFBCG we will release an initial Army Deck for each. That deck will contain 54 cards, 24 Unit Cards, 12 Spell Cards, 16 Command Cards, 2 Player Aid/Army Info Cards, 4 Wizard/Commander Counter and Kill Marker Chit Sheets and instructions. These will retail for $15 each. They will be sold in POP display packs of 6 decks for distributors and retail stores.

After the release of an Army Deck we will support each with continued releases of Reinforcement Packs. A Reinforcement Pack is pack of 12 cards, normally 6 Unit Cards, 2 Spell Cards and 4 Command Cards. These are basically support packs with new, unique units, spells and command cards to bolster your forces contained in the basic Army deck. These Reinforcement Packs will retail for $4.00 each and will be sold in POP Display packs of 12 for Distributors and Retailers.

Our initial releases will include the following Races: Dwarves, Orcs, Human Barbarian Horde, Undead, High Elves, Goblins, Empire of the West, Lizardmen.

Shattered Sword Fantasy Battle Card Game: New Card Design.

T.O.G. Entertainment has redesigned the card art for Shattered Sword Fantasy Battle Card Game.

After ongoing discussions with Chad Ellis of Your Move Games, T.O.G. Entertainment has addressed the main concerns regarding the design similarities of both games. Chad states, in part, that, "The updated unit designs for Shattered Sword address our main concerns. It is now unlikely that anyone familiar with one game would mistake it for the other. With that in mind, Your Move Games welcomes Shattered Sword Fantasy Battle Card Game."

T.O.G. Entertainment Announces Shattered Sword Card Game

Today T.O.G. Entertainment announced the impending release of Shattered Sword Fantasy Battle Card Game. The release date will be announced by mid October, and will be available to purchase in early November, 2008.

Jim Mauro, President of T.O.G Entertainment, reports that Shattered Sword Fantasy Battle Card Game is a fast and fun fantasy battle game using cards as units. It is a game for two or more players where each player chooses an army, and the cards represent units in your army. Players can choose their units for each game based upon the point system which is included, or any other manner the players choose. Players can play on any suitable card table or larger surface which represents the battlefield where the opposing armies will fight.

Each faction comes packaged as an Army box deck of 54 cards, which contains 24 Unit Cards, 16 Command Cards and 12 Spell Cards. Later releases will include Reinforcement packs for each Army containing Specialty Units, Command and Spell Cards. Mr. Mauro states that, "we have developed a very elegant game system that emphasizes playability, while at the same time implementing a system that recreates the friction and uncertainty of Command on the battlefield. Above all, the game is designed to be fast paced and fun to play."
