Kill Team is taking the skirmish level fight to the void of space. Time to prep your specialists for a new battleground — In Space!

Games Workshop is teasing the next chapter of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. We’re heading to the void of space with a brand new killzone of sorts. Here’s the latest teasery video from GW:

Kill Team Into the Void…Kinda

“A new Kill Team release is on its way, and it’s more claustrophobic than ever. We’re entering the void of a drifting space hulk. In such oppressive confines, no-one knows what’s around the corner – except for the fact that it’s definitely not friendly. “

Yep. You’re reading that right and based on the teaser video we’re about to battle it out in the “massive-yet-claustrophobic” Space Hulks. Long time fans will know this isn’t the first time GW has taken us to space in these junkers full of loot.

It’s going to be interesting to see how GW rolls Kill Team into a Space Hulk scenario. It also sounds a lot like this will have some new and custom rules to add to your Kill Team Games. One example of these new “things” we are going to see are new devices called “C.A.T.s, or Cyber-altered Task Units” that are reconnaissance units.

Seeing this thing does look a bit like something the Ad Mech might whip-up. However, note the “I” on the side. That’s a BIG indicator of who this belongs to.

We’ll have to wait to find out for sure but it it quite intriguing. I wouldn’t be the first time the Adeptus Sororitas were featured for Kill Team either.

Why would they have a Kill Team on a Space Hulk…IN SPACE?! Who knows! But it’s going to be fun to find out what happens. And does this mean we’re going to have Genestealers? I mean, it’s a Space Hulk…so expect an infestation.

What do you think of the next Chapter of Kill Team? Could we get a Kill Team x Space Hulk mash-up?
