Games Workshop has showed off quite a few units for Legions Imperialis but there’s some key options we haven’t seen…yet.

We’re super excited about all the cool possibilities for Legions Imperialis. We only know the confirmed units that GW has shown off but there’s plenty more on the way. Just looking at the catalogue of Horus Heresy-era units available is a pretty strong clue as to what’s on the horizon. But these are the five units we hope we get first.

Five Units We Want First

Rhinos

With the massive sizes of the battles that Legions Imperialis is promising we are going to need a way to get our infantry models around the tabletop. Rhinos are the iconic transport of the Space Marine Legions. Since we’ve got Predators already spotted you know these have to be really close behind.

Spartan Assault Tank

I was tempted to go with a Land Raider Proteus but the Spartan Assault Tank is the bulkier and more gunned-up Heresy-era version  Plus the model is still relatively new on the Horus Heresy front so it would be really cool to see them in Legions Imperialis scale. It’s also another good transport option and the heavier armor and firepower might help it push up the field with Titans stalking around.

Sicaran Venator Tank Hunter

And speaking of Titans, we could use some tanks that can really threaten those walking behemoths. We already know the Sicaran is coming so why not bring in the Venator Tank Hunter, too!

Drop Pods

And oldy but goldy the Drop Pod would be another great addition to the Legions Imperialis range. Being able to safely deep strike your Space Marines deep into enemy lines with a bunch of these one-shot transports would be super thematic. I hope we see these soon!

Legion Sky-hunter Squadron

These fast moving jetbikes would be an ideal flanker unit. And with their melta options they could even bring some pain to the heavier armor of a Titan. Plus seeing these zoom around at the epic scale would be really neat.

Those are the five units we hope get added to Legions Imperialis first. If you’ve got any top picks drop them in the comments!

Hmm…We didn’t include any Solar Auxilia units in this list. Maybe we’ll have to do a round two.
