Fill out your ranks with these badass jungle fighters who are ready for battle – and won’t break the bank.

Wargames Atlantic and Reptilian Overlords Team up together to bring these awesome 28mm Sci-Fi Jungle Fighter SpaceNam miniatures for your tabletop games.

Inside this boxed set, you get 20 miniatures for a great price. Right now, they are running for $39.95 on the Wargames Atlantic website. If you want to build a larger army, you can get them down to as low as $29.90 per box if you buy bulk multiple sets directly from the manufacturer.

These miniatures are as muscular as you can get. They look like something right out of an 80’s sci-fi movie!

The Sprue

Let’s take a quick look at the sprue. Inside each box, you get 5 of these sprues, enough to make 20 miniatures with lots of options.

Building the Miniatures

Once built, these miniatures look good!

In here, I get two ten-man units of infantry.

I built one set with regular heads.

And the other with Berets. Both groups I armed with two flamethrowers, but there are sniper rifles, grenade launchers and plama and melta like weapons in the box too.

The boxes don’t come with bases (you need to supply your own), and I found that two out of four miniatures I needed to prop up while the glue dried. Aside from that, these miniatures are very easy to build.

Even without paint on these figures, you can tell there is some great details on them.

Scale Comparison

I use these miniatures for One Page Rules’ Grimdark Future miniatures game. That said, they are generic enough that they could serve as friendly proxies in other games (such as Warhammer 40K).

Here is a scale comparison image. Left to right, Wargames Atlantic Eisenkern Stormtrooper, SpaceNam, Primaris Marine, Wargames Atlantic Cannon Fodder Miniature, SpaceNam, and a Wargames Atlantic Les Grognard Miniature.

Wrapping it up…

If you are looking for some great minis to fill out your jungle fighter ranks for a 28mm sci-fi game, check out these SpaceNam miniatures by Wargames Atlantic. They have a likeness to GW’s Catachan Jungle Fighters, but are still have unique features.

If you liked this article, please check out my personal site for the longer review and also take a look at my last post on BoLS about the Sneakfeet miniatures (aka Halfling Snipers by Wargames Atlantic). As a reminder, if you head to the Wargames Atlantic website and see something you like, they give you a price break for buying multiple boxes of the same unit. That is great for filling out the ranks of miniatures needed for whatever army you play.
