There are legendary Dwarfen Engineers from The Old World. One such prodigy is Burlok Damminson who’s coming soon!
Burlok Damminson was an old school dwarf in the Warhammer Fantasy era when Karl Franz was emperor. But before he was the grizzled veteran and inventor he was a young upstart! Today, Games Workshop has announced he’s making his return to The Old World with a new miniature and rules!
Dwarf Engineers are the greatest inventors in the Old World, though they are usually held back by constant appeals to tradition enforced by the Engineering Guild. Occasionally though, a prodigy manages to prove that fresh new ideas are worth a few singed beards, and few have pushed the form as far as young Burlok Damminson.
Burlok Damminson Returns
The first time we were all introduced to Burlok Dammison he was a much older version — and missing an arm no less! But he was still able to get those cannons pointed in the right direction and firing on point!
Now he’s coming back with a new Forge World resin miniature which is slated to arrive early next year. It might be a while but he’s going to bring the goods when he does arrive. Especially if you’re into bringing the big guns.
Burlok is perfect for keeping around Quarrellers, Thunderers, or any Dwarf war machines for the re-rolls he brings. For the units, he allows for re-rolls of a natural 1. For your artillery, he allows for a single re-roll for the Artillery die. ALSO, any units he join benefit from his range finding because they don’t suffer the usual -1 To Hit modifier for shooting at long range!
Again, he’s going to make an appearance early next year. So you might have to wait a bit. However, if you’re a fan of the Dwarfen Armies in The Old World, Burlok Damminson could be a valuable addition to your army.
Get dialed in with Burlok Damminson!
