We’ve got a servo-skull sighting with this new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. But now the fun can begin.

Welcome to another Tuesday! It’s that time of the week were we get a brand new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. Time to put on your detective hats and get ready to do some guessing! Although today we kind of know what we’re looking at…

“Alright, we’re generous, so here’s something else to speculate about this week. We peaked last week with the old skull-on-a-cloth classic, so we’ve cooked up something a little cerebral this week, a little avant-garde.

HA! IT’S A SKULL AGAIN.”

Rumor Engine – Servo-Skull Reporting In

Alright so it’s clearly a skull. With all the mechanical doodads, it’s likely a skull of the servo variety. Also, that “I” on the forehead is pretty telling. Do we have some Inquisitors in the house? Seems possible!

It’s also possible it for some Inquisitorial Agents, too. I’m not counting them out either. However, this does mean that it’s very likely from the 40k side of things. And it’s also very likely this is for someone in the Imperium. That at least narrows things down quite a bit.

That said, we aren’t really due out for any Inquisitor releases anytime soon, are we? The Imperial Agents book is out. And in 2025 we’re looking at a few other releases besides them…

Perhaps this is related to the Death Korps coming in the Astra Militarum release window? Then again, 2025 will probably have more stuff on the way, too. Who knows what GW is actually planning to drop. Fingers crossed it’s something BIG.

Big Names? Maybe this is for a special character? Lots of them use servo-skulls. Cutting this list down is going to be a tough one and we may not get an answer for a while. I’m at a loss — but this is where you come in! If you’ve got any ideas of who could be using this skull drop us a line in the comments with your theory.

Inquisitor with a Servo-Skull? That’s like asking for a list of characters with a hat.
