It sure looks like someone is about to get stabbed with a two pronged attack. It’s a new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop!

Welcome to another Tuesday and that means it’s time for a brand new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. This one looks deadly. I would not want to be on the business end of this Rumor Engine. But before we start guessing you should see it for yourself.

“This week, the Rumour Engine refused our attempts to play more skull-based pranks and shot out some kind of blade-looking thing instead.”

Rumor Engine – Two Pronged Assault

So what are we looking at here? Well it’s clearly a bladed weapon. It’s got a rather unique look as well. I’m not sure if it’s suppose to be metal or another material if I’m being honest. It’s probably metal though…

I don’t know if this is a sword, spear, or some other weaponAlso, what’s going on with the socket area? That looks like more ornate carving that just a piece of metal jammed into a stick.

My first guess was some sort of Necron weapon. That’s mostly because of the shape of the blade. However, if that’s not metal, it could also be some sort of new Seraphon weapon.

But really, I’m just not sure about this one. We don’t have a ton to go on and it really could be something from either 40k or AoS. It’s not overtly advanced but it’s also not poorly made. This Rumor Engine certainly falls into that category of “well, I know it’s a weapon…but I don’t know who’s using it!”

That’s where you come in. If you have any idea of what this one could be drop us a line in the comments! Who knows — your wild guess might be spot on. Or you could just kick start a train of thought that gets us to the right answer. What do you think this one is?

It’s an electrical plug. Yeah…that’s the ticket!
