This ICv2 calendar tracks the release dates of Magic: The Gathering sets made by Wizards of the Coast. The calendar begins with releases coming out in January 1, 2025 and runs till January 1, 2026 (this is a running article that will be located in the Calendar section of the ICv2 website).
Innistrad Remastered
Preview Events: January 17-23, 2025; Release Date: January 25, 2025
The set will feature reprint cards from the Innistrad sets as well as some serialized cards (see “Dates for ‘Magic: The Gathering – Innistrad Remastered’“).
Aetherdrift
Prerelease Date: February 7, 2025; Release Date: February 14, 2025
New Premier Set that features Chandra Nalaar racing through the Omenpaths and across three planes of the Multiverse (see “‘Magic: The Gathering: Aetherdrift’ Product Details and Dates“).
Tarkir: Dragonstorm
Prerelease Date: TBA; Release Date: April 11, 2025
Magic: The Gathering returns to the plane of Tarkir with this Premier set (see “‘Magic: The Gathering’ in 2025“).
Final Fantasy
Release Date: June 13 2025
This set features favorite characters, including Cloud, Terra, Lightning, and Noctis, and summons, monsters, and rivals from across the Final Fantasy series, including every Final Fantasy game released to date up through Final Fantasy XVI (see “‘Universes Beyond’ to Be Legal“).
Edge of Eternities
Prerelease Date: TBA; Release Date: August 1, 2025
Edge of Eternities is a new Sci-Fi-themed set (see “‘Magic: The Gathering’ in 2025“).
Spider-man
Release Date: TBA
This set is part of the Marvel collaboration with Wizards of the Coast that adds Marvel characters to Magic: The Gathering (see “Teases New ‘Magic: The Gathering’ ‘Marvel’ Set“).
