Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist: Codex Aeldari – “Windriders GO!”

Goatboy here and it pains me to write up a CodexAeldari list, the Windrider Host is too good to pass up. Strap in, put on your pointy helmet, and let’s ride!

Goatboy here and today I’m going to take my medicine, and write up an Aeldari list.  We all know how I feel about this army and while it is cool we are getting a new Codex I do dread playing against these guys in any upcoming tournament I have lined up.  I just don’t like feeling like I got to get lucky to catch these squirmy little Space Elves and all their pointy sticks that hurt me if I get too close.  Still I do love the idea of a full biker army and thus let’s take a look at the mean and coming to a tabletop near you Windrider Host.

Windrider Host Tactics

I didn’t type out the points as we are not sure what will be the final locked in points for the codex will be at this date. But, this is less than the point costs we have which means it should stay viable.  This is me taking all the small bike things I can take and utilize all the rules from the detachment.  It will be fast, move around the table, and probably put some hurt on things as needed.  You can also make a ton of zoom zoom sounds like you are speeding all over the table.  The Aeldari are supposed to be fast and this is one of the faster builds I could come up with that at least feels interesting to play with.  Oh and if you bought all those bikes all those years ago you can use them to burn across the table top wrecking things for those pesky Space Elf gods they always talk about.
