Dirge of Valiros: A Fantasy AGE adventure for Technofantasy settings

Available Now!

Legends speak of the Dirge of Valiros, a piece of orchestral music capable of destroying cities, though some say it once had a more innocent purpose. The Cataclysm that threw the world into chaos also plunged this epitome of magical art into obscurity, but some still seek it out, to learn from it, revel in the beauty of it, or in the case of certain cults, to bring devastation and dark gods back to finish the job the Cataclysm started. Now your heroes dare the wastes for the secret, confronting monsters and relics from before the Fall on the way.

Designed for characters of levels 1 to 4, The Dirge of Valiros requires the Fantasy AGE Core Rulebook, and the Fantasy AGE Technofantasy supplement to fully use, though in a pinch it will suit standard Fantasy AGE games, if the GM is willing to swap out Technofantasy references. With no specific larger setting, The Dirge of Valiros is an ideal entry point for a Technofantasy campaign.

Fantasy AGE Technofantasy is a campaign genre guide that helps Fantasy AGE Game Masters create post-apocalyptic, high-tech fantasy worlds inspired by everything from classic cartoons and nuclear age apocalyptic media to the Dying Earth fantasy genre, but which has entry points for classic fantasy characters, combining elves and dragons with robots and rayguns. This means that if your characters travel from a typical medieval-styled Fantasy AGE game to a post-apocalyptic, technology-filled world, there’s no need to convert their game statistics.
