Kill Team: Typhon is up for pre-order this weekend and is packed with amazing models. Let’s see them up close!

Games Workshop sent us a copy of the new Kill Team: Typhon boxed set and our very own Goatboy got to build them. I’m a little jealous. But at least he sent me a ton of pictures to drool over. So without further delay, let’s check out the models inside Kill Team: Typhon!

The Battleclades

The Battlecades are the Adeptus Mechanicus led team of servitors. While these thralls are under the command of the Ad Mech, they still pack quite a punch. This is really a neat kill team in terms of miniatures you get as well. The servitors are equipped with a mean set of weapons and have some funky rules to match.

Overall, I like these models for their Imperial-zombie style. They might not be undead in the traditional sense. But they still kinda creepy and (somewhat) mindless killers. Plus if you’ve ever wanted a whole bunch of tech-thralls, well, here ya go!

The Raveners

This is a kill team that’s been a long time coming. The Tyranids finally get a proper Kill Team and GW opted for the tunnelling Raveners to lead the charge. There’s a handful of unique bio-forms that the Raveners take in this kill team. So let’s take a look at all of them!

I’m a Tyranid player so I’m already enticed to run this kill team. Personally, I really want to get these miniatures and build a set myself. I hope that GW takes this idea of unique bio-forms and applies it to more Tyranid units in the future. More variations of existing units would be a great way to evolve the range!

The Terrain

The Kill Team: Typhon box also comes with some new Tyranid Themed terrain. I’ve always been a sucker for the cool terrain sets that GW makes. And, this being Tyranid Terrain, I know I’m going to get sucked into this kit.

I really like that GW basically brought back and re-imagined a handful of old tyranid terrain pieces. Now they are back and in plastic. Perhaps one day I’ll collect enough of these kits to supply a full table’s worth.

Good luck getting your hands on this set.
