Next week, the Horus Heresy gets a new wave of heavily armored reinforcements, with Saturnine terminators and more!
If you like big round shoulder pads that make you look even more heavily armored than most, then this is the week for you. The Horus Heresy rolls out the big shouldered boys as part of the coming pre-orders. And by that we mean Saturnine armor. Saturnine Terminators, Saturnine Dreadnoughts, plus a few little extras. All this coming next week!
Saturnineday Pre-orders

Perhaps the fanciest of the various Saturnine armors out for pre-order next week is the Saturnine Praetor. In rare Saturnine-pattern Terminator armor, this Praetor can wield a variety of weapons, including concussion hammer, Saturnine war axe, and plasma blaster. The kit comes with a variety of heads, shoulders, but not knees or toes – this is in part because the toes are armored, but the knees are ball joints so you can really get in there and customize the posing.

Of course why have one Saturnine Terminator when you could have several. In this kit, you can build four Terminators with plasma bombards, heavy disintegrators, Saturnine disruption fists, and the same flexible pose ball joints.

Or go big – real big – with the Saturnine Siege Dreadnought kits. There are two all in all, first up the Chiron configuration, which comes with disintegrator cannon and heavy plasma bombard arm, as well as chest-mounted photonic incinerators or concussion resonators. Plus plenty of leg armor, face plates, halos, and more.

Or take the Ophion configuration and swap out weapons for an arm-mounted inversion beamer and graviton pulveriser, paired with chest-mounted heavy particle shredders.
And if none of those sound good, you can grab sprues for either Dreadnought configuration on their own from the Warhammer webstore, so you can snag all the bits and pieces your heart desires sprue by sprue.

But it’s not just Saturnine things in the coming week. You can also pick up the new Centurion with Power Maul mini, who sports MkII Crusade pattern armor.

Speaking of MkII pattern armor, you can pick up a whole Veteran Squad armed in Crusade armor. But on top of that, they are armed with exotic weaponry from the heart of Terra: Disintegrators. You’ll find 10 disintegrator rifles, 2 combi-disintegrators, 2 disintegrator pistols, 2 disintegrator blasters, and 2 heavy disintegrators along with 10 battery packs in the kit.

If all you want are the disintegrator weapons, you can also pick up a pack of disintegrator weapon upgrade sprues that double the disintegrators from the Veteran Squad kit.

There’s also a new gun emplacement out. The Arakane Quad Accelerator Platform is a huge gun emplacement that has four autocannons and a forcefield, making it a deadly fortification that your whole squad can fight around.

And last, but not least, the Legiones Astartes Drop Pod – for the Heresy and beyond. These drop pods are available on their own in a single drop pod kit.
All this, next week!
