Games Workshop just released new Battle Profiles for a bunch of Age of Sigmar armies. But the points aren’t matching up and now I’m confused.
Okay, I’m hoping that this is just an upload error on GW’s part and they get this fixed soon. But I noticed something today as I was looking at the Battle Profiles download. First up, we got a bunch of new points updates:

Cool. That’s good news. I’m always glad to see updates and refreshes. So what’s the issue? Well, I was confused as to why certain armies got individual updates when there’s the big Battle Profiles download. So I checked. Here’s the Kharadron Overlords Battle Profiles download:
That’s just the first page, but it’s a new battletome so I get it. Not a big deal? But these points don’t line up with the big Battle Profiles download. Here’s the Kharadron Overlord section for comparison:
The Kharadron Overlords only download has updated points while the big Battle Profiles download covering all factions (apparently) still has the old points. And it’s not just the Kharadron Overlords.
Here’s the Blades of Khorne only download for their new Battle Profiles.
Again, it’s two pages, but you can see the changes. Here’s the points from the big Battle Profiles download.
So yeah, there are some points discrepancies. Again, I’m not sure if this was just an oversight or what. But this is kind of confusing. It’s also extra confusing because all of these are from July 2025 and were all updated today. I’m hoping this oversight is corrected fast. I think perhaps the wrong file got uploaded or maybe some changes/updates got reverted by accident. I’m not sure why GW released these individual Battle Profiles either — but they did.
Now hopefully common sense wins out and folks don’t fight about which version is correct. The problem is you can make the case for either version because both have the same dates and are both official. That’s why this needs to get fixed ASAP.
