Goatboy here with my first 10th Edition Codex Grey Knights armylist. I have a ton of Dreadknights and figured I would see how many I can fit into a list. It’s a LOT!
There isn’t much else to do with Dreadknights, beyond just trying to get these baby carriers into a new Codex Grey Knights army. Of course I need to add in some things to help let these giant mecha suits win games, in the end. Let’s build it out and see what fits in with the new points given to us by GW.
The plan for this list is to put in six Dreadknights and see what else I can fit. The current “best ally ever” is Canis from Imperial Knights so he is going in to be a big heavy. I know you could do all Grey Knights and throw in some Paladins but I want a bunch of stompy nonsense, so Canis it is. I was able to then throw in some Tech Marines to do the whole – we love robots and machine nonsense. From there I had a bit more for a Strike Squad and you get to see the nonsense down below.

Grey Knights – Dreadknight Mob Tactics
The idea here is the Dreadknights are able to move, advance, shoot, and charge which seems pretty dang good. You mix that with a few teleport and tech pieces and you got an army that is going to be hard to pin down. They can also have avenues for lots of healing and other fun stuff. Plus Canis is just a beast and is going to be a wrecking ball of doom for the army. Do you pay attention to the giant robots or the smaller robots?
The best thing is it probably looks amazing on a display board and lots of fun paint. I know a lot of players have a ton of Dreadknights so having all of this mess available is a pretty wild thing. I have most of this beyond “fixing” some of the Dreadknight weapons. I left the list off of there as I am sure will have to figure out what is best for the army.
