Games Workshops new pre-orders are out and it’s the Leagues of Votann with the reinforcements. Plus the Salamanders are getting some love.

It’s a big release for the Leagues of Votann. The new codex looks solid with new options for play as well as new Army Rules to match. Plus the reinforcements are coming with brand new units to run. I think this could be the boost the army needed to get back on the tabletop and make a strong showing. On top of that the Salamanders are getting attention with a new Vulkan He’stan as well as that spicy Combat Patrol. You probably don’t need more than one of them though.

As the Forgefather of the Chapter, he is entrusted with the relics of the Primarch – the Spear of Vulkan, a blade that burns so brightly it can set even ceramite ablaze, Kesare’s Mantle, an impenetrable drakescale cloak, and the Gauntlet of the Forge, whose molten rage none can endure.

The miniature is packed with Salamanders details, including Chapter iconography, finely wrought flames on the armour, and lizard scale. There is also a choice of two different heads – one with a helmet and one bare. Vulkan is an ideal addition to your Salamanders collection and excels at unleashing the fury of the forge upon the battlefield.
