There’s a batch of classic miniatures from Games Workshop getting the Made to Order treatment. There’s a limited time to get them.

If you’re a hardcore miniature collector then you’re going to want to keep an out for these sets that are going Made to Order from GW soon. The Emperor’s Children, Aeldari, and Space Wolves are all retiring some classics. This could your last chance to get them for a very long time.

“Whether you’re a veteran who remembers buying blister packs with single metal miniatures, or a newer fan who has pored over old issues of White Dwarf or seen classic miniatures shared online, you’ll recognise historical influences on these newer miniatures. And now, a few more of them are coming back on a Made to Order basis.”

Space Wolves Made To Order

For the Space Wolves there are some pretty iconic miniatures going MTO. Lukas the Trickster and the old school Njal Stormcaller are going metal.

There’s also an older Wolf Guard Battle Standard, too. There will also be a set for an Iron Priest, a Rune Priest and a Rune Priest in Terminator Armour.

But the big one (literally) is Bjorn the Fell-Handed. I’m not sure if this one is going to be metal or not (I HOPE it’s metal). But it’s the classic dreadnought for the venerable old wolf.

Aeldari Made To Order

As for the Aeldari, the Phoenix Court of Khaine is coming to MTO. It’s fitting since most of them got a new plastic rework. We’re still waiting on Karandras in plastic…we didn’t forget GW!

There’s also the metal version of Eldrad Ulthran up for grabs, too. And to help with the psychic shenanigans, there will be a set of four metal Warlocks and the OG Metal Farseer, too. Oh and the Webway gate terrain will also make an appearance!

Emperor’s Children Made To Order

The Emperor’s Children are getting a pair of classic returning in metal with Fabius Bile and Lucius the Enteral on the way.

There’s also a Chaos Lord as well as a trio of metal Noise Marines, too.

And to top it all off the updated glam rock Noise Marine is also returning for another performance. Ya know, in case you missed it after the last release.

Last Call For These Classics?

So is this a final bow for these miniatures or what? While I’m sure GW isn’t going to destroy these old molds they are basically doing a last run on these miniatures for a while. Just about all of them have been updated or just flat-out pulled from their respective armies anyhow. You could just get the new versions of them moving forward.

So yeah, this is kind of a final send off for these old metal miniatures. With them going Made To Order there’s a good chance that the lead times on them is going to be pretty far off when you DO place the order, too. So keep that in mind. These miniatures are basically only for collectors at this point. Or for people that just really like the old aesthetics of them. The only one I’d be personally interested in the Phoenix Court of Khaine. But that’s really more nostalgia talking. I think I’d rather just get the newer plastic kits and build it from that instead.

Sorry, I just like the newer versions better.
