One of Pathfinder’s most infamous megadungeons arrives on D&D Beyond, as the Gauntlight gleams, the Abomination Vaults (5E) open their doors.
The Abomination Vaults Adventure Path is now on D&D Beyond. Meaning now you have one more place to find the 5E version of one of Pathfinder’s biggest megadungeons. If you’re somehow unfamiliar with it, this megadungeon is a single crawl that takes players through many levels in every sense of the word.
As you go deeper in the dungeon, you go higher in level – in this Adventure Path it’s from levels 1-11. Megacrawls like this are a long and storied part of D&D (and also Pathfinder), and now you can dive in digitally.
Abomination Vaults 5E on D&D Beyond
This adventure path has it all. A huge, sprawling dungeon packed with all sorts of horrible creations. Centuries ago, an evil sorcerer used this complex as a base, raising an army of monsters of his own design to unleash upon the world and become a sorcerer-king. That didn’t happen. Instead a thriving town sprang up nearby.
And if you’re familiar at all with the lore of Golarion, you know that Otari is perhaps the single most RPG town in a world full of RPG towns. It has seen so much trouble – the kind of trouble that has launched a band of diverse little misfits into becoming powerful enough to confront the agents of the gods themselves. Which, if you know Pathfinder APs, you know you may well have to do.
And the Abomination Vaults Adventure Path is no different. Humble beginnings pull you deeper into the depths of the Abomination Vaults, where malignant evil stirs in its depths. But not everything is what it seems:
“Spiteful evil stirs beneath the mysterious lighthouse called Gauntlight. When the lighthouse emits an eerie glow, locals suspect that something sinister threatens the countryside. Brave heroes must explore the ruins around the lighthouse and delve into the dungeon levels beneath it. Hideous monsters, deadly traps, unexpected allies, vengeful ghosts, and more await the heroes who dare to enter the sprawling megadungeon called the Abomination Vaults! The Abomination Vaults Adventure Path is a complete fifth edition campaign taking heroes from 1st to 11th level, featuring dozens of new monsters, NPCs, player options, and more!
This complete compilation of the original Adventure Path campaign has been adapted to the newest version of Dungeons & Dragons. You’ve heard about the quality and depth of Pathfinder campaigns for years—now explore the Abomination Vaults yourself without having to learn a new rules engine!”
