Wizards of the Coast will release Secret Lair Countdown Kit: An Encyclopedia of Magic, a set of individually packed cards for Magic: The Gathering in an encyclopedia-like package. The Secret Lair set will feature 26 individually wrapped cards, each tied to a different letter of the alphabet. Cards in each set might include foil, or rarely, Halo foil cards. Full card list has not been announced.
The set will be dropped on November 3, 2025 at $199.99.
This adds to the 36 Magic: The Gathering drop sets previously announced for Q4 2025 (see “Second ‘Magic’ Superdrop“), at a new, higher MSRP.
