Can I just slap a 40k base on him and use this? Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle gets the JOYTOY treatment!
JOYTOY has done it again! This time Mortarion is back with an awesome looking action figure. And this one comes with JOYTOY’s new movable eye system which sounds creepy and extra.
This superbly detailed model comes with an arsenal of accessories, including Mortarion’s signature pistol, the Lantern, which can be modified in various ways with an adaptable magazine, as well as five daemonic Nurglings who cavort around the Primarch’s feet. It’s also the debut of JOYTOY’s new movable eye system, so you can have Mortarion gazing wherever something has caught his malevolent attention.
Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle
Yeah, I don’t know how to feel about those movable eyes. I’d probably get them looking the wrong direction or something. That said, this figure is absolutely loaded with details.
What’s even more impressive to me is that JOYTOY even included the little Nurglings that the miniature has!
This is awesome. I’m honestly curious to see it in person. The really funny part to me is that the Mortarion miniature costs $175. This JOYTOY version costs $199.99. So I could get the JOYTOY one, fully painted and looking awesome (with creepy movable eyes) for just $25 more than the GW miniature. Seriously, can I just stick the JOYTOY one on an appropriately sized base and call it a day? Let’s just say that the got a Primaris-size increase and be done with it.
I guess that’s one way to play with your toys* on the tabletop.
*Warning! Not suitable for children under 12 years. This is not a toy. (Emphasis added. But that’s literally from the manufacturer’s description.)
Anyhow, this awesome figure is now up for Pre-order from the Warhammer Merch Site. The expected shipping is slated for sometime in February 2026. So just be aware of that delay.
