The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design will Induct three new members into their Hall of Fame at Origins Game Fair on June 19, 2026, as announced by The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

This year’s class of inductees features two game designers and an artist. Antoine Bauza and Richard Borg will enter the Hall of Fame as designers. Bauza won the 2013 Spiel des Jahres for Hanabi and the 2011 Kennerspiel des Jahres for 7 Wonders; Borg created 1987’s Liar’s Dice, which later won a Spiel des Jahres as Bluff. Most recently, Borg worked on Star Wars: Battle for Hoth (see “‘Star Wars: Battle of Hoth’ (Board Game)“).

Wayne Reynolds is the sole artist being added to the Hall. He was the primary artist for Pathfinder RPG (see “‘Pathfinder 2E’“), and has also worked on Magic: The Gathering (see “April 2022 Superdrop Incoming“) and comic books (see “‘Dark Knights of Steel’“). Two games will also be added to the Hall of Fame: Can’t Stop by Sid Sackson and Apocalypse World by Lumpley Games.
