Come take a look at the upcoming Pathfinder Lost Omens: Cheliax, Infernal Inheritance, which delves into the fate of the Hellfire Crisis.
Pathfinder’s new metaplot, the Hellfire Crisis, comes to a close at the end of Hell’s Destiny. And for a little denouement, as a treat, Paizo is putting out Pathfinder Lost Omens: Cheliax, Infernal Inheritance. This book will follow the world as it reckons with the changes wrought in the adventure path. Ancient empires, hellish dangers, and more await within.
Pathfinder Lost Omens: Cheliax, Infernal Inheritance
Of course, there’s quite a bit packed into this regional gazetteer. As the name suggests, it goes into the breadth of Cheliax. But there’s more than just the devil-bound nation in the aftermath of its war. You’ll also be able to learn about the people that broke free from it, the nation of Isger. Or explore Ravounel as it finds its own place in the world, free of Cheliax.
As you might well imagine, the book gets fairly deep into the lore and implications of the Hellfire Crisis. So if you want to get a handle on a Golarion changed by this infernal war, then you’ll want to pick up this gazetteer.
“In this comprehensive regional gazetteer, readers will be able to explore:
Cheliax, a devil-bound nation transformed by war; Corentyn, a naval power establishing its militaristic and economical might; Isger, a recently liberated nation discovering its forgotten past; Nidal, a nation wreathed in shadow and bound to a wicked god; Ravounel, a former Chelaxian hold that is seeking its own place in the world; Scorchhome, a nation for goblins and other outcasts.
Each entry within this gazetteer includes the history, culture, and current events of the region, as well as a major city to include in a variety adventures. The book also includes new character options and a fold-out poster map!”
Pathfinder Lost Omens: Cheliax, Infernal Inheritance comes in two editions. There’s the standard cover, as well as a faux-leather and metal debossed special edition cover that has its own little ribbon bookmark if you’re especially fancy.
Look for both versions of Cheliax, Infernal Inheritance in October this year. Assuming we all make it that far.
What do you think happens to Cheliax?
