This week we’re hooting and growling for these not so scary Owlbear themed Dungeons and Dragons accessories.
There are few monsters as well known as Dungeons and Dragons’ Owlbear. By combining two animals that everyone knows, D&D has made a creature that everyone recognizes, and few want to fight. But Owlbears can be a lot of fun, and some of today’s accessories aren’t even that fearsome.
A Kenku’s Mount Mini
There are tons of Owlbear minis out there. No matter what pose, size, or how scary a monster you want your party to meet, there is an Owlbear mini for you. This particular beast is a Kenku’s mount. The small details in the feathers, armor, and saddle are very nice. And while the Owlbear is usually a monster, this one could be friend or foe depending on how things are about to go down with that Kenku.
Plush Owlbear
If there’s a monster in D&D there is an adventurer who will try to keep it as a pet. And if there’s a popular monster in D&D, there is a cute version of it out there. In this case, it’s an adorable set of huggable Owlbear plush dolls. Coming in five color options and two sizes, you may just find your new monster familiar right here. Or, if none of these five colors work for you, the Owlbear of your dreams can be customized, just contact the shop owner.
Owlbear Cub Mini
Speaking of cuties, I don’t think many of us- or our characters- would see an Owlbear cub and not “aww!” at it. Is its mother nearby and about to attack? Probably! But there’s a cute baby animal here right now and isn’t that what really matters? Just make sure somebody is keeping an eye or an ear out; an angry Owlbear mother is nothing to be messed with.
California Inspired Owlbear Hat
This snapback cap is a lot of fun. Inspired by the flag of California, it features an Owlbear walking across grass on a white background. Beneath it is the monster’s home of the Forgotten Realms. It’s a subtle and funny reference, but still one hundred percent Dungeons and Dragons. Summer will be here before you know it, and when it’s time to break out our hats and keep the sun out of our eyes, you’ll want this one ready.
Monster Trophy Plaque
Next time you have your party over for a D&D session, tell them all about the time you encountered one of D&D’s most famous monsters in real life and won! This foam rubber and latex twenty three inch tall trophy will back up your claim. Or, it will look awesome on the wall in your gaming room. No Owlbears were harmed in the making of this RPG accessory.
