Studio Trigger and Netflix’s 10-part Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series has a proper trailer.
The trailer promises bullets, hacking, and street punk action, made for the CD Projekt sequel to the tabletop from Mike Pondsmith.
Hiroyuki Imaishi, who co-founded Trigger, is directing with Masahiko Otsuka as the assistant director.
In the show, we pick up by following David, a street thug who becomes one of the titular Edgerunners. With Maine, Dorio, Kiwi, Pilar, Rebecca, and Lucy, David’s life as an Edgerunner is dangerous and complex.
The series will hit Netflix this September.
Along with the trailer, there’s a new poster for the show, which was penned by Yoh Yoshinari. Fans of Gurren Lagann and Little Witch Academia will know his fantastic style.
