Chun-Li is one of the oldest and most respected female video game characters of all time. She packs a punch and a hell of a high kick and is a central character in the Street Fighter series. Chun-Li is also one of the most famous, recognizable characters in the world. Today we’re throwing together a kick-ass closet cosplay list to inspire your creative vibes!

Chun-Li is a martial artist and Interpol artist who might just be the strongest woman in the world. She’s the female protagonist of the series, on a mission of revenge that just won’t quit. Through each game, her garb evolves, becoming more elaborate but still maintaining its signature mandarin collar and blue-and-gold detailing. This list is meant to kick-start your planning process for a cosplay build that’s sure to sweep you off your feet!

Chun-Li Closet Cosplay: The Dress

Amazon is a fabulous place that hosts many independent vendors who’ve created pretty decent cosplays. For Chun-Li, there are several ready-to-wear options that just require a click and a purchase. This one is pretty decent! Good color, a nice fit, and looks to have good movement for those high-kicks.

If you want something with a lower price point and a bit more vintage feel, this is a great option. Light and easy, the fabric looks less likely to wrinkle as well.

Chun-Li Closet Cosplay: The Boots

Honestly, it’s the boots that make the cosplay for me. I’m a sucker for a Converse-style boot, and any time a cosplayer wears Chucks for their cosplay, I stand up and cheer. These are non-branded, but that makes for much more customization. You can add as much detailing as you like!

Chun-Li Closet Cosplay: The Bracelets

You’ve gotta finish the look off with some serious bling. And by serious, I mean you better take her seriously, or she’ll punch you with these spiked bracelets! These definitely have a 2000s emo vibe, but when partnered with the Chun-Li cosplay, they’re just the right touch to tie the look together.
