Games Workshop is dropping a huge batch of Legions Imperialis products this weekend for pre-order.

It must be time to check in on the Legions Imperialis side of things because GW has a ton of new goodies out. Well, maybe not “new” but at least re-issues and new ways to get them. The Legiones Astartes Battle Group and the Solar Auxilia Battle Group are both impressive bundles and if I were looking to dive in that’s exactly where I’d start. There’s also the massive and impressive Legions Imperialis Warmaster Iconoclast Heavy Battle Titan kit. That one looks like an absolute monster! Let us know in the comments what interests you the most from these pre-orders.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: CIVITAS IMPERIALIS SPIRES $44

Even in the glory days of the 31st Millennium, many worlds of the Imperium favoured a gothic aesthetic in their cities. Towering spires encrusted with gargoyles, domed roofs and vaulted windows featured heavily in their construction, lending the Imperium’s colonies a distinctive look and feel.

This multipart plastic kit builds a set of epic scale towers, designed for use in games of Legions Imperialis and Adeptus Titanicus. This modular set includes a choice of different steeples and can be arranged and stacked in a variety of configurations – you can assemble four small towers to set atop your other Civitas Imperialis structures, or combine them to form a single large tower!

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: FIRE RAPTOR SQUADRON $52

A variant of the Storm Eagle, the Fire Raptor gunship was created to provide overwhelming aerial firepower to Legiones Astartes assault forces. These relentless attack craft can reduce any target to ruin in a devastating rain of bolt shells and high explosive missiles, and are in use amongst virtually every Legion.

The Fire Raptor excels at pounding ground targets with hellstrike missiles or performing strafing runs with its Avenger bolt cannon and as interceptors, Fire Raptors are utterly deadly against even the toughest aircraft. The mix of the Avenger bolt cannon, missiles, and a choice of several additional weapons means it consistently punches above its weight.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

The set includes:

– 2x multipart plastic Adeptus Astartes Fire Raptor miniatures
– 2x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases with ball socket stems

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: XIPHON INTERCEPTOR SQUADRON $52

The Xiphon is a void and atmosphere capable combat craft with an ancient lineage, with many unique variations on the base design encountered on lost human colonies across the galaxy. Potent and heavily armed, the Xiphon had largely fallen out of frontline service by the end of the Great Crusade – tens of thousands of retired aircraft were swiftly pressed into service once more with the outbreak of the Horus Heresy.

Harder to take down than most fighters, and packing some serious firepower in the form of four lascannons and a missile array, Xiphon Interceptors will scythe through even the staunchest opposition. The frag missiles can be exchanged for krak missiles to pound ground targets and with hunter-killer missiles for dogfighting supremacy, these aircraft are more than a match for most foes and this box gives you a whopping six of them to support your army.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

The set includes:

– 6x multipart plastic Adeptus Astartes Xiphon Interceptor miniatures
– 6x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases with ball socket stems
– 1x Space Marine Squadron transfer sheet

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: STORM EAGLE SQUADRON $52

The Storm Eagle Assault Gunship is a dedicated tactical strike unit primarily used deployed in a Legion’s orbital assault and for low-level ground attack. Rugged and durable, the power of the Storm Eagle lies in its versatility, serving capably as a long-range transport, orbital shuttle, scout and as an interceptor in addition to its primary roles.

More like a bomber in stature and armament, Storm Eagles will prove themselves essential to every Legions Imperialis general. Armed with a quad lascannon, twin heavy bolter, and dual frag missile pods, the weight of firepower they deliver is unmatched in their class. The frag missiles can be swapped for ground-pounding dual krak missiles or aerial-assassin hunter-killer missiles, ensuring you’re prepared for any mission parameters.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

The set includes:

– 2x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases with ball socket stems
– 1x Space Marine Squadron transfer sheet

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: AVENGER STRIKE FIGHTERS $52

The Avenger Strike Fighter is a superlative ground attack aircraft designed to operate alongside Solar Auxilia cohorts during planetary invasions. Named for its primary armament, the Avenger bolt cannon, the Avenger excels at performing strafing runs on enemy armoured formations, raking the vulnerable weaker sides of their armoured hulls with mass-reactive bolt shells. The Avenger can also be employed in the secondary role of interceptor, providing close air support for ground troops against enemy bomber squadrons.

The Solar Auxiliary is spoiled for choice when it comes to small, vicious dogfighters. Add Avenger Strike Fighters to your forces and provide massive firepower, which is protected by a tail gunner – rare on such a small craft. Their mix of weapons allows them to take a ground-attack role, or take out slow-moving bombers. They also have a unique style, looking like nothing else in your force with their down-swept wings, exposed engines and wide tails.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

The set includes:

– 4x plastic Solar Auixilia Avenger Strike Fighter miniatures
– 4x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases with ball socket stems
– 1 Avenger Squadron transfer sheet

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: THUNDERBOLT FIGHTER SQUADRON $52

The Thunderbolt is a heavy fighter combining devastating strike potential with a high degree of speed and manoeuvrability. They form the bulk of the Imperialis Armada’s intra-atmosphere fighter aircraft. While the Thunderbolt’s primary role is air superiority, its most famous characteristic, is sheer resilience – it is not unusual for a Thunderbolt to return to base with damage that would have downed a lesser craft.

If aerial domination is your goal, then Thunderbolt fighters are the answer. These versatile craft are equipped with twin lascannons for taking on enemy armour columns, as well as quad autocannons or Avenger bolt cannons for shredding both enemy flyers and ground targets.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

The set includes:

– 4x multipart plastic Thunderbolt fighter miniatures (Any of these miniatures can instead be assembled with Avenger bolt cannons instead of quad autocannons. The kit also includes a selection of hellstrike missiles, skystrike missiles and wing bombs to upgrade your miniatures with.)
– 4x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases with ball socket stems
– 1x Thunderbolt transfer sheet

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: CERASTUS KNIGHTS ACHERON AND CASTIGATOR $79

The Knight Castigator is a Household’s answer to hordes of lesser foes. Armed with the fearsome Castigator pattern bolt cannon, this Knight is capable of obliterating infantry formations in a thunderous rain of mass reactive explosions and whirling power blades, and carving apart light vehicles with ease. The Cerastus Knight Acheron is a fearsome sight on the battlefield, a reaper of lives carefully designed not only to destroy with flames, but also to inspire terror both in appearance and the manner in which it undertakes its grim task.

This multipart plastic kit builds four epic scale Cerastus Knights. Two of these war machines are Cerastus Knights Acheron, armed with Acheron chainfists and Acheron pattern flame cannons. The other two are Cerastus Knights Castigator, each wielding a Castigator warblade and Castigator pattern bolt cannon.

These models can be used in games of Legions Imperialis, as well as games of Adeptus Titanicus using the included Adeptus Titanicus Command Terminal.

The set includes:

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: WARMASTER ICONOCLAST HEAVY BATTLE TITAN $178.50

The Warmaster Iconoclast Titan is a god-engine designed with a singular purpose – obliteration. Even its reactors have been modified for engaging the foe up close. Those few who know of the Iconoclast’s existence fear its arrival upon the battlefield, for the march of such a god-engine renders seemingly impenetrable armour into little more than an inconvenience. Where it treads, civilisations fall, nought but rubble left behind to mark their passing.

This multipart plastic kit builds an epic scale Warmaster Iconoclast Titan. This massive miniature is armed with a colossal desolator chainsword and either a grinding Krius siege drill or a powerful Krius grav-imploder, making it a melee-focused monster to forge an aggressive strategy for your army or battle group.

In addition to its primary weapons, the Iconoclast boasts a carapace-mounted cruciator gatling array, two torso-mounted mauler bolt cannons, lascannon turrets built into its greaves that can be hidden behind firing ports, and a quartet of either bombard turrets or defence batteries arrayed atop its hull. Finally, it features your choice of two shoulder-mounted weapons, chosen from an impressive arsenal to suit your tactical needs.

This kit is packed with detail and offers loads of ways to customise your Titan. You’ll find four different faceplates for the head, as well as three pairs of pauldrons – one with sculpted Loyalist designs, one with Traitor imagery, and one left blank. The kit features joints at various points, allowing you to pose your Titan right down to its tank-crushing toes. Many of its weapons are also adjustable, meaning you can aim them appropriately.

This model can be used in games of Legions Imperialis, as well as games of Adeptus Titanicus using the included Adeptus Titanicus Command Terminal.
