Street Fighter is still a global success of a franchise, breaking most recently into the world of eSports and tabletop games. The games captured the hearts and competitive natures of gamers worldwide and continue to hold them. Street Fighter spans multiple generations of gamers, almost every console on the market, and even a feature film.

Street Fighter is widely covered by cosplay fandoms. It has a special appeal to folks in the bodybuilding and martial arts communities. Their dedication to practice and discipline equals that which is required for martial arts, so it’s easy to see the parallels. There are some amazing fitness folks who dive into cosplaying to show off their physical prowess.
Regardless of the character, having a background as a martial artist or fitness aficionado helps with cosplay realism. Miniatures in games are notoriously “larger than life”, so coming up with a cosplay that can match the mystique of a model? That’s a tough match! These cosplayers are ready for their fight to be the fittest to begin!
