Osprey will release The Terror Beneath, a new roleplaying game book, into retail on October 22, 2024.
This new RPG, designed by Scott Malthouse, is inspired by the works of Arthur Machen, an early 20th century Welsh supernatural horror author. The game is powered by the GUMSHOE system, which was created by Robin Laws in 2007. In this game, players explore the realms of the occult in Britain at the dawn of the 20th century, where cults undergo ancient rites in hidden clearings and caverns and beasts of legend emerge from the shadows. The players will take on the roles of investigators that will attempt discover the nature of these supernatural occurrences.
The Terror Beneath will retail for $35.00.
Osprey Games will also release Bolt Action: Third Edition, a new version of the World War II miniatures game, this Fall (see “New Edition of ‘Bolt Action’“).
