Games Workshop has unleashed the Blood Angels this weekend for Warhammer 40,000 for pre-order this weekend.

It’s officially time for the new units of the Blood Angels to go up for Pre-Order this weekend from Games Workshop. You could snag some of these early from the Army Box but if you missed that your time is now. Personally, I’m kind of leaning towards the new Sanguinary Guard. While I’m not a huge fan of the wings re-work, I do like the Primaris’d versions of their armor overall. I’m also okay with the new Sanguinor as it’s an homage to the old model. What are you wanting to snag this weekend for GW?

Codex Supplement: Blood Angels $35

The Blood Angels are one of the most revered of all the original Space Marine Legions, but are also the bearers of a terrible curse caused by the death of their beloved Primarch, Sanguinius. As one of the oldest and most successful Chapters, they have a proud heritage, culture, and aesthetic that diverges from what is now considered standard. They celebrate their beauty, but do not shy away from their savage nature in the heat of battle.

Codex Supplement: Blood Angels is your essential guide to using the Sons of Sanguinius and their successor Chapters in your games of Warhammer 40,000, as well as collecting, building, and painting them. When combined with the contents of Codex: Space Marines, you’ll be able to build an army with their own fighting style, specialised units, and unique formations. You’ll also find everything you need to use them in narrative Crusade games and games of Combat Patrol. The book is loaded with artwork, stunning examples of painted miniatures, and fascinating background material to inspire you.

Inside this 104-page hardback book, you’ll find:
– History and background of the Sons of Sanguinius, starting with their glorious origins in the Age of Darkness, to the death of their beloved Primarch, and its effects on the current Chapter
– Beautiful artwork, shedding light on both their glorious record of deeds, and the secret darkness at the heart of their bloodline
– 15 datasheets to add to those found in Codex: Space Marines, including the Death Company, Baal Predators, and Sanguinary Guard
– Three themed Detachments – the Lost Brethren, Liberator Assault Group, and the Angelic Host – each with their own special rules
– Crusade rules to show how your characters either ascend to the Sanguinary Guard, or succumb to the Black Rage
– Combat Patrol rules to take command of the Sanguinary Spearhead in fast-paced games
– An ‘Eavy Metal showcase of expertly-painted Citadel miniatures to inspire you

You’ll need a copy of Codex: Space Marines, available separately, to use the contents of this book fully.
