Roll20 and Demiplane’s cross-platform connectivity is live with a public beta that you can try for yourself as it rolls out!

The two virtual platforms are syncing up to bring you everything you need, whether it’s on one platform or the other. With their cross-platform plan, you’ll have shared subscription benefits, Demiplane character sheet integration with Roll20, and much, much more.

Demiplane x Roll20 Beta – Cross-Platform Codexes

Last year, when Roll20 acquired Demiplane, one of the big reasons why was to make use of the amazing character management folios that Demiplane has to offer. And with the public beta of the Demiplane x Roll20 integration, a major milestone in the goal has been hit.

Demiplane’s cutting-edge character tools can now be used right inside the Roll20 tabletop. If you’ve ever struggled to make your own Roll20 sheet, you understand exactly why this is a huge deal. But now, with months of development and feedback from selected users, the launch is live.

Here’s what you’ll have access to as part of the public beta:

Cross-Platform Sync – This will let users unlock owned titles from Roll20 or Demiplane on the complementary platform for free. Supported systems include all eligible titles from Pathfinder 2E, Starfinder 2E, Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition, ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game, Marvel Multiverse RPG, selected titles from Cyberpunk RED and Fallout: the Roleplaying Game.

Shared Subscription Benefits – Userse can now link their Roll20 and Demiplane accounts under one subscription. Demiplane subscriber benefits are now included in your Roll20 subscription (at no additional cost), including content sharing with up to 24 people and unlimited character creation across the Demiplane platform.

Character Integration in the VTT – You can now use your Demiplane character sheets in the Roll20 VTT. Player actions work the same way they did before – token linking, click-to-roll actions, and streamlined gameplay are all now within a single interface.

And of course, this is just the first wave of support. There are already plans in motion to add in support for Daggerheart and the Cosmere RPG as those games hit their respective launch dates. And as more and more of the platforms are integrated, I’m sure it’ll get much smoother.

Demiplanes focus on immersive character tools means that you can keep Roll20 open in one zone for the combat maps and your other virtual tabletop needs. While you could hop over to Demiplane to settle into an ambient atmosphere that draws you deeper into the world. And since one subscription gets you both benefits, there’s no reason not to try out either if you already have one.
