Lazlo’s Cubed Crypt from Attention Deficit and Dragons

  • END DATE: May 22, 2025 at 3:01pm EDT.
  • CROWDFUNDING ON: Backerkit
  • SYSTEM(S): System neutral
  • PROJECT TYPE: RPG accessory
  • MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $35 + S/H for the not-Rubik’s Cube Dungeon Puzzle Cube
  • TARIFFS: “Our cube manufacturer is in Canada, so we will be keeping a close eye on the situation as we draw closer to fulfillment. We are not including the price of the tariffs in our pledge tiers, as that is unfair to backers in other countries. Instead, any additional fees incurred may be included in the shipping charges.”
  • WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? This isn’t a Rubik’s Cube, it is so much cooler than that! This product takes the Rubik’s Cube concept and replaces the color stickers with a dungeon map that needs to be solved to be traversed. Drawn in an old school style by Dyson Logos, the idea speaks to me. You give the players the mixed up cube and they have to solve it, or part of it, before moving on to the next room. The physical interaction combined with a 12th-level adventure that allows players to interact with the cube is the makings of a killer game. The cube prints the map on a 3D surface that can change, but there is a flattened out version of the map with the adventure. This is going to look cool on your shelf and be fun in a game. If you’re a fan of something physical like this not-Rubik’s-Cube Dungeon Puzzle Cube, then check out the Backerkit campaign page to get a copy.
Exoecology for Monster Hunters- a 5e Ecohorror Boss Bestiary.png

Exoecology for Monster Hunters: a 5e Ecohorror Boss Bestiary from MargoMods

  • END DATE: Thu, May 29 2025 12:08 PM EDT.
  • SYSTEM(S): Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition
  • PROJECT TYPE: Sourcebook
  • MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $20 for the PDF of the book
  • WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? This one dropped a new-to-me type of horror: heroic ecohorror. Featuring extraplanar invasive species, over 6 monster hunting adventures, craftable magic items, and monster hunting guilds, this sourcebook is focused on a mission: To make monsters terrifying. With over 200 pages, this book offers some great ideas with subclasses like Barbarian: Gelatinous Brute (the picture is of a barbarian that’s cover in ooze), Monk: Warrior of the Displaced Fist (the image shows a foot shooting out of a portal), and Wizard: School of Muckmancy (this wizard slings mud). The campaign page states that this is for fans of Heliana’s Guide to Monster Hunting (which this book is compatible with) and Monster Hunter World. If creatures that have to be dealt with before they spawn beyond the point of no return sounds like a fun fight, check out the campaign page to get a free PDF adventure.
