During Kobold Con 2025, Kobold Press opened applications for our annual Kobold Creates program. Kobold Creates supports digital creators, networks, and gamers who use Kobold Press products by offering them sponsorship funding.
This year, the program accepted a variety of pitches, including actual play sessions, podcasts, short-form content, interview shows, and YouTube series. Kobold Press is dedicated to supporting content creators worldwide and fostering new groups playing together and new ideas that help tabletop roleplaying games grow and thrive.

After weeks of reviewing the applications, Kobold Press is excited to announce the selection of 10 groups and content creators who will receive sponsorship. Each of these groups presented incredible ideas inspired by the Tales of the Valiant roleplaying game and the Labyrinth Worldbook.
We’re excited to announce the 2025 Kobold Creates projects:
Join Apochromatic Unlimited for a three-part livestream experience! The first stream is a horror one-shot set in the Labyrinth. The second stream is a world-building podcast that uses plot threads from the one-shot to expand into a larger campaign. Finally, both casts come together for a talkback episode to discuss their thoughts and reactions, as well as answer questions from the audience.
Baddie Bards’ all-black, all-queer, all-trans actual play podcast journeys through the Labyrinth for a multi-dimensional story with a plant horror twist.
Crit Hit Chronicles continues its long-form Tales of the Valiant campaign. The corrupting powers of the Queen of Lodrathae are stripping the party of their empathy and free will. Can they find a way into her sanctum and put an end to her reign without succumbing to something darker?
Dungeon Studios proudly presents Labyrinth: The Price of Penance, an immersive audio drama expanding the rich worlds of ToV and the Labyrinth. Join them as they bring to life a compelling narrative driven by talented voice actors, scriptwriters, sound engineers, and visual artists.
Mage Hand High Five presents a thee-episode actual play using the Tales of the Valiant roleplaying game and the Labyrinth Worldbook. This series shifts the focus from epic heroes and adventurers to the corporate lackeys who support the villains’ grand plans, showcasing the everyday lives of characters as they navigate an impending apocalypse.
Travis Savoie, a composer known for his immersive music, creates a cohesive soundtrack that brings the setting of the Labyrinth to life. This free soundtrack captures the mystery and otherworldly atmosphere of the environment. Once complete, the soundtrack will be available for players and game masters to use in their tabletop sessions.
Summoned Stories unfurls an epic actual play experience that goes beyond a dungeon crawl. Journey through the intricate layers of the Labyrinth, where characters forge deep connections and uncover secrets. As they navigate this complex world, they will confront profound questions about identity, destiny, and the true cost of wielding power in a realm that may not be meant to be saved.
Taino Tales presents Ascension, an actual play set in the world of Forsaken. The story follows two unlikely strangers who must confront the challenges of a crumbling city as they attempt to escape the Labyrinth before it’s too late.
Join Tales of Initiative for a Labyrinth actual play. Their characters face the Void and the end of all things, racing to fetch ancient knowledge that could provide the forces of good with a new tool in their arsenal.
Join Chuck as he shares his training, experiences, and adventures in armored combat. His journey in steel fighting is inspiring for any Kobold. This modern-day warrior puts his steel to the test in the arena, drawing inspiration from the Tales of the Valiant RPG and the Labyrinth Worldbook.
