Games Workshop is continuing to put out more ‘rumors’ from the Horus Hearsay site. This could get interesting.

Hopefully by now you’ve at least heard of the new site GW has spun-up for the rumored new edition of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They have dubbed it TheHorusHearsay.com and they have been uploading new teasers and ‘rumors’ to the site. So let’s get into them.

Okay, forget the whole rumor text thing. This is clearly a teaser for a new kit of some type. Tactical Pouch or not, that is a neat bit. I wonder who’s going to get it as part of their kit? More Space Marines (duh) inbound?

Not a crux terminatus? Sure, I suppose so. The problem here is that we’re super zoomed into the bit. So it’s kind of hard to tell what this actually is in terms of scale. Terminator-wise, it doesn’t look like either Tartaros or Cataphractii Terminator armor to me. I wonder if it’s a character…

Forget the numerology conspiracy theory stuff. This sure looks like a new plastic objective marker to me. Who knows what else GW has planned for the new edtion.

The final ‘rumor’ that I want to cover is the flame weapons announcement. I’m curious how this will be implemented in the game. Just doubling the Flamer template would be one thing…

But it wouldn’t be the first time GW experimented with new teardrop templates. Let’s not forget about those crazy ones that used to exist for Apocalypse.

There were also the crazy blue ones that were even larger…

So yes, GW has done that before and honestly, it does make flame weapons a wee bit scarier. We’ll have to see if that one does come true. But it DOES come true, then you cane be you’ll be seeing them in whatever new launch box GW creates.

What do you think of these new GW ‘rumors’ for the Horus Heresy?
