Goatboy here with a new Codex Chaos Knights  armylist that has six Lords of Dread knights and all the OC!

Goatboy here with a Chaos Knights build using the back of the book points.  I feel a few of the big points are off while the War Dogs might be pretty close to being right on.  Will see whenever the new points come out and how many evil things we can fit in.  Let me put on my brewing hat and get to throwing things together and will see if it actually works.

This time around I want to do the Lords of Dread armylist.  This is an interesting detachment in that it gives your Chaos Knights more OC and the ability to use the stratagem Claimed for the Dark Gods for free once a turn.  This is the ability that lets you “sticky” and objective with OC 5 on it.  This is huge as this is one of the first abilities to sticky and leave that sticky with an OC value.  I wonder how useful it will be with a few bigs running around and locking objectives down as they try and get in the way through the game.

The list is pretty simple with these points.  Heck you could probably just run all bigs but I thought a scouting one might be helpful.  The Double Abominants might do some work with cascading Auras and other fun bits of Damage.  The Tyrant causes a giant bubble of not being able to teleport in which feels very good to mess with.  The Rampager will be able to go fast one turn as needed and the Double Thermal Despoiler can help answer things.  Heck you could go double Gatling as well but the 2 Thermals should give you more than enough “quality” shots into something to be a scary threat.

Are you ready for the time of the Chaos Knight Bigs?
