Next week is all about Space Wolves, with new miniatures and a new Codex bringing you the icy heart of Fenris in all its glory.
There are no wolves on Fenris. But there are wolves in space, and next week you can see them in all their glory, because Warhammer 40K is getting a massive Space Wolves release. It’s not just a new Codex, but there are tons of new miniatures, including an incredible new Wolf Priest model, Arjac Rockfist, and of course Logan Grimnar himself. All this, next week!
Space Wolves On Pre-Order

It all starts off with the Space Wolves Codex. Inside this Codex are all the usual things you’d expect – all the updated datasheets, a few new Detachments, and new background lore. You can also pick up a big fancy deluxe edition with gold foil details and page edges and a ribbon and everything.

Logan Grimnar is the High King of the Space Wolves, and he is a beloved hero of the Imperium across many planets. He wields the legendary Axe Morkai and os as deft a strategist as he is a warrior. And accompanied by his Fenrisian Wolves, Logan Grimnar is an imposing, regal figure indeed.

And while GW is rolling out the Space Wolf greats, you can also find Njal Stormcaller – the greatest Rune Priest of the Space Wolves. He can call up mighty elemental winds to harry foes and help allies in equal measure.

And let’s not forget Arjac Rockfist, the personal champion of Logan Grimna. Rockfist wields a Foehammer that he can hurl out a surprising distance, and he comes with Termminator armor and storm shield for even more protection.

Personally, I’m excited for the new Wolf Priest miniature. Because I mean, just look at him. These are a combination of Apothecary and Chaplain, and do everything from healing your guys to making them even better at killing. And they wear cool Wolf masks.

The Wolf Guard Battle Leaders are what pass for “junior officers” in the ranks of the Space Wolves. They function like Lieutenants, and come with a variety of options, including master-crafted power sword, thunder hammer, heavy bolt pistol, plasma pistol, and storm shield.

Roll out the heavies in the form of Wolf Guard terminators. They come with potent relic greataxes, lightning claws, storm bolters, storm shields, lightning clas, an assault cannon, and power fist. Kit out your squad and send them to mop up pretty much anything.

If you prefer your heavies to be a little bit faster, you cantakethe Wolf Guard Headtakers instead. With power weapons and storm shields, and three Hunting Wolves, these unit can cut their way across enemy lines and excel at taking out leadership and heros if they can get the drop on them.

Speaking of Assault Troops, the babies of the bunch: Blood Claws. Blood Claws are the newest members of the Space Wolves. Instead of fighting as Scouts, they instead wear armor and are assault troops that wield bolter and chainsword in the name of Fenris and the Emperor.

The Grey Hunters, on the other hand, are a little bit more experienced. They’re more like regular Marines, though they do still tend to be faster and killier up close.

Finally outfit yourself with some new Drop Pod miniatures. They have been redesigned to be easier to build and ill out the footprint they’re actually supposed to. With fixed doors and everything, these Drop Pods are ready to go for any chapter, but they come with iconography for Ultramarines, Space Wolves, Imperial Fists, lack Templars, Raven Guard, Dark Angels, and Blood Angels specifically.
All this, next week!
