The Horus heresy Kicks Off A New Edition With Age Of Darkness: Saturnine

Listen, it wouldn’t be the release of a new edition of any GW game without a big new boxed set. And the new Horus Heresy is no different. Starting next week you’ll be able to pre-order Age of Darkness: Saturnine for your Horus Heresy games. And Saturnine is packed full of new miniatures, with 50 new ones, including a Praetor clad in Saturnine Terminator armour, a Centurion in MkII Crusade-pattern power armor, 40 Legionaries in MkII Crusade-pattern power armour, six Saturnine Terminators, a Saturnine Dreadnought, an Araknae Quad-Accelerator Platform, and enoguh Disintegrators to turn your Legionaries into Veterans.

There’s also a gorgeus new rulebook. Inside this 352-pager, you’ll find new background info, rules for miniatures and building them, and all the templates, scatter die, and other accessories you might need. But the rulebook will also be available separately for those who want to keep working on the armies they started.

Accompanying both of the core rules, are the new Liber books. These books contain game rules, unit profiles, wargear options, and even unique Detachments and Advanced Reactions. You’ll find five all in all:
- Liber Astartes
- Liber Hereticus
- Liber Mechanicum
- Liber Auxilla
- Liber Questoris

And of course, the new Isstvan V Dropsite Massacre book drops as well. The Isstvan V bbook is the first big expansion for the new edition, and it is a doozy. It takes you bback to the battle that kicked off the Heresy with new rules for a Legendary Mission and more.

In the MkII tactical squad kit, you can find 20 new multi-part plastic miniatures ready to put together with a variety of options, including a selection of “special weapon” options for the sergeant who’ll be leading your MkII squad in its armor.
All this, next week!
