It’s blood for the blood god and codes for the code throne, as both Khorne and the Kharadron Overlords get new codexes and minis this week.

If you are an Age of Sigmar Faction whose name begins with KH then it is your week. There’s just something about that grouping of letters that lends itself well to the Mortal Realms. And both the forces of Khorne and the Kharadron Overlords get a bunch of new toys this week with the release of two new codexes and several miniatures accompanying them.

Blades of Khorne

It all kicks off with the Blades of Khorne codex. This book has all the updated warscrolls, rules, and lore you need for your Khorne army. It also has new Spearhead rules, andrules for new Regiments of Renown and Armies of Renown, including a couple of new faces seen below.

And the Khorne Spearhead boxed set unleashes his wrath in the form of the Hound of Vengeance, Karanak, who leads 10 other lesser Flesh Hounds and 8 slayers into ferocious battle.

Or snag the new Deathbringer miniature and field a champion of Khorne who is skilled at taking down the skulls of heroes and warlords – with a damage 3 axe that has a chance to instantly kill enemies, a Deathbringer is a fearsome foe indeed.

The Claws of Karanak are a bunch of warriors who revere Khorne’s goodest boy, and who are skilled at running any enemy down, thanks to their motley crew of a Packlord, Hound of Wrath, Brutalisers, and 4 lood Whelps.

PIn the Goreblade Warband, you’ll find 19 new miniatures ready to take the field in Khorne’s name. Led by a Mighty Lord of Khorne, and featuring 10 Bloodreavers, 5 Blood Warriors, a Khorgorath, Bloodstoker, and Bloodsecrator, they are very much about blood for the blood god.

The Red Revelation, on the other hand, is a new Regiment of Renown. These are a band of Khornate mercenaries who will fight for and/or against anyone. Led by Zarxor Hell-Eye, this bloodcrazed band consists of 5 Skullreapers and 10 Bloodreavers.

Kharadron Overlords

Meanwhile in the skies above the Mortal Realms, the Kharadrons get their new codex. And this one is full of new ways to bring death from above to your foes while still remaining adherent to the Kharadron Code.

Along with the new codex, is a new Spearhead box: the Grundstok Trailblazers. Led by an Endrinmaster in Dirigible Suit, and supported by a Grundstok Gunhauler, 3 Endrinriggers, and 5 Grundstok Thunderers, you’ll get a concentrated dose of duardin firepower in one easy box.

The new Null-Khemist is an experimental new weapon in the Kharadron arsenal. In an anti-magic suit, and armed with a null-gas extinguisher, this character specializes in taking out magic of all kinds, from sorcerers to demons and more.

Or spear your enemies the old-fashioned way with a Vongrim Harpoon Crew. These scavengers come armed with parts of wrecked ships, including endrin packs and javelins. They are adept at maneuvering quickly thanks to their harpoonns.

Snag the new Zontari Endrin Dock to give yourself a refueling station that you can set up somewhere on the table. The Endrin Dock repairs friendly ships and helps your units defend your territory, and can even damage or disrupt the incoming enemy.

Finally the Kharadron Regiment of Renown: Drekki’s Privateers. Led by the notorious Kharadron privateer Drekki Flynt, this team of 10 Arkanauts and an Arkanaut Frigate – the Aelsling – they are ready to fight the enemies of Order and loot in the name of the Kharadron Overlords.

All this, next week!
