I hope you have your calendar’s marked and the time zone figured out. The Warhammer Big Summer Preview is this week!

We mentioned this last week and did a breakdown of all the silly hats. What silly hats? Maybe you should watch the video:

Today, we’re getting a bit more info on just what to expect. And it’s going to be a BIG show.

Warhammer – Big Summer Preview

We knew the date was this Friday, July 18, 2025. And we knew the time was 7PM BST (check your timezone for when that is for your part of the world). What we didn’t know but had some rough ideas about was which systems would be getting covered.

Now we have the list:

  • Warhammer 40,000
  • Warhammer: Age of Sigmar
  • Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness
  • Warhammer: The Old World
  • Kill Team
  • Underworlds
  • Legions Imperialis

Whew! That’s seven different systems that are all going to get a nod and previews. When GW said this would be a BIG Summer Preview, they weren’t kidding.

Now, I want to take a moment and do some speculating. I’m going to skip 40k and AoS for now. What I wanted to focus on was the Age of Darkness and Legions Imperialis because those are both set in the Horus Heresy. That and the fact that we just got the launch of the new edition of The Age of Darkness with the Saturnine box.

I think what we’re going to see in The Age of Darkness is more news on more vehicles coming to the game. If we’re really lucky we might even get more info on the mysterious Dark Mechanicum that’s been brewing on the Legion Imperialis side of things. Heck, we got those weird warmachines in LI, when are they making the jump to the Age of Darkness scale?

On the flip side of that exchange there’s a TON of new Saturnine miniatures that just got added to the Age of Darkness range. Are we going to see those same units make the jump to Legions Imperialis? What I’m saying is “yes, I do want Saturnine Dreadnoughts in Epic Scale, please!”

We’ll have to do some more speculation on what’s to come in the other systems later. For now, I’m going to let you stew on those. Here’s a look at the last road map images we got for 40k and AoS:

I think we’re about to get some Space Marines, folks.
