A big week for the forces of Death in the Mortal Realms, as both Flesh-Eater Courts and Nighthaunts get new battletomes and more!

Death comes to the Mortal Realms in a big way this week! Both the Flesh-Eater Courts AND the Nighthaunts get new Battletomes. And alongside those new books, new Spearhead boxes, characters, and more. It’s a great week to be undead, in other words. Woe to the living, next week!

Flesh-Eater Courts And Nighthaunts Unleashed Upon The Mortal Realms

It all kicks off with the new Battletome Flesh-eater Courts. This has all the updated rules for everyone’s favorite deluded ghouls clinging tightly to faded, illusory glory. Though in their minds they’re wrapped in finery, in reality they wear the tattered remnants of a once-opulent life. In the new battletome, they get more delusions, more lore, a new Spearhead, as well as new Regiments and Armies of Renown.

And here to help convey the literal delusions of grandeur is the High “Falconer” Felgryn. Felgryn is a folk hero who can root out Skaven wherever they may heart. A succession of fel beasts give him the impression he has a loyal falcon Grype, and their deluded teamwork makes him deadly in battle.

The Scarlet Jury is a Regiment of Renown that comes with 10 Cryptguard, a Royal Decapitators, and Grand Justice Gormayne in a wig of entrails. What do their legal writs say? Death, mostly.

Or pick up the new Spearhead set, the Charnel Watch. This big battle box comes with an Abhorrant Gorewarden, 3 Crypt Horrors, and 3 Crypt Flayers supported by a unit of Royal BBeastflayers, a Flaymaster, and a pair of Offal Hounds.

Meanwhile, on the Nighthaunt side, the new battletome unleashes ghostly torments including new spell and grief features, as well as a new Spearhead, Regiment and Army of Renown and more. Get your ghosts and gheists together!

And a new character kicking all of this ghostly glory off is the Lord Vitriolic. A nighthaunt “medic” that blends alchemy and poisons together into a “soul-withering” combo.

And putting the Knight in Nighthaunts, are the Knights of Shrouds. These are former generals who turned on their people. These cowards and traitors in life are tormented heroes in death. With a Sword of Stolen Hours, they make a battlefield leader par excellence.

Finally, the Spearhead for the Nighthaunts – the Cursed Shacklehorde. Inside this big box, you’ll find 10 Bladegheist Revenants, 10 Dreadscythe Harridans, 2 Dreadblade Harrows, and a Spirit of Torment, and two Chainghasts.

All this, next week!
