Ten Speed Press and Clarkson Potter revealed a slew of upcoming campaign accessories, starting with a dragon coloring book.
Ten Speed Press and Clarkson Potter announced a whole slew of new D&D books and accessories coming in the latter half of the year (and early 2026). In addition to two different “campaign journals” there’s a Dragon coloring book, a new entry in the Young Adventurer’s Guide series (a BoLS favorite), and even a book on crochet in the works. Here’s what we know!
Ten Speed Press Reveals New D&D Lineup Starting With Warriors & Wizards Compendium
It all kicks off with a new entry in the Young Adventurer’s Guide series. These are a favorite here at BoLS. They’re guides that are aimed at younger readers, but have a lot to offer anyone looking to get a little more immersion out of the game. I like them a lot because they give you a sense of what “the world” of D&D is like from a character’s perspective. It makes them informative and fun without being rules-heavy.
The new book in the series, the Warriors & Wizards Compendium provides readers with a look at the options that go into creating characters, including going through the new Aasimar, Goliath, and Orc entries from the 5.5E Player’s Handbook. It’s also full of advice on telling stories with the characters you create. If you have young D&D fans in your life, I can’t recommend this series enough. Look for it November 4th.
Also for the young and young-at-heart, a dragon-themed coloring book will be following on in short order. Dragons of the Realms: An Official D&D Coloring Book, also from Ten Speed Press, is set to release November 18th. This book has 80 pages of dragons fresh out of their 5.5E glowup just waiting to be colored in.
Not long after that, are a pair of Campaign Journals from Clarkson Potter: The Player’s Campaign Journal and Dungeon Master’s Campaign Journal. Each of these books is tailor-made for their respective side of the DM screen. The DM’s campaign journal isn’t just a notebook for you to hastily scrawl down the name of whatever goblin NPC the players are demanding to know the life details of—it’s full of prompts to help you design your winding adventures and worldbuilding.
Meanwhile the Player’s Campaign Journal is there to help you keep track of what the DM has assured you is the storyline you’ve been following for the last two months of real life time (about three in-game days). Never forget the name of another NPC when you can track them. Track your character’s connection to other party members, factions, and more. Get inside the head of your character with this fun journal. Look for both of these November 18th.
Finally, coming next year: the D&D Crochet Book. This one is for all you crafters out there. Soon you’ll be able to work up an Owlbear Cub plushie, crochet up some Gloves of Missile Snaring, even your very own Bag of Holding. Full of D&D crochet patterns, this book will be the key to making the current/former D&D , come March 2026.
So whether you want to craft your character arc, or just a cute plushie, you have options!
