Asmodee will be releasing The Witcher: Path of Destiny from Go On Board and CD Projekt Red, with the core game, two expansions, and an accessory pack launching on September 26.
Announced in 2023 (see “New ‘The Witcher’ Tabletop Game Incoming”), The Witcher: Path of Destiny is a competitive tableau-building card game in which the players assume the role of characters from the Witcher universe and use cards to follow or attempt to alter the path of their destiny. In the core game, Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Vesemir, and Dandelion are available to play, each with their own powers to use. The game is narrative in style, with the actions of the players as a group determining the storyline, but with only one player able to claim victory in the end.
The Standard Edition of the core game includes 5 player boards, 5 standees, 241 cards, 30 wooden markers, 237 cardboard tokens, 2 storage trays with lids, and a neoprene playmat. It is intended for one to five players, ages 14 and up. MSRP is $64.99. A Deluxe Edition with upgraded premium components including double-layer player boards and character miniatures will be available for $99.99.

The Witcher: Path of Destiny – Legendary Monsters challenges the players with monstrous foes including Leshen, Aguara, Hym, and Katakan while also offering new heroes and companions to play. This set comes with 4 monster miniatures, 60 cards, 59 tokens, a double-sided HP counter, and 4 large monster cards for use with The Witcher: Old World. MSRP is $54.99.
The Witcher: Path of Destiny – Triss & A Grain of Truth introduces the elemental sorceress Triss Merigold as a playable character. It also features a new storyline, A Grain of Truth, which challenges players with shifting rules of play. This set has 1 player board, 2 standees, 3 miniatures, 2 base rings, 6 markers, 46 cards, a solo-play board, a punchboard of tokens, 2 plastic trays with lids, and a tuck-box for storage. MSRP is $34.99.
The Witcher: Path of Destiny – Acrylic Tokens set offers an upgrade to the components in the base game, with 195 acrylic playing tokens. MSRP $44.99.
