It’s a big Kill Team weekend as next week’s pre-orders roll out Kill Team: Tomb World, as well as a host of other Kill Teams.
Next week is a big week for Kill Team with the pre-order launch of Kill Team: Tomb World. This is the big box of Deathwatch (different from Death Guard) vs. Necrons in a desperate race to try to stop a Tomb World from Awakening. Two new Kill Teams and tons of terrain are just the tip of the iceberg though. There’s also four other Kill Teams – two of which are being repackaged for 40K (whatever that means). As well as madet o order Aeldari and Emperor’s Children. What a week!
Kill Team: Tomb World

It all kicks off with a big new Kill Team box. Tomb World follows the story of the planet Somneft in the Nephilim Sector, where a team of Deathwatch Space Marines race through its winding corridors to try and prevent the Tomb World from awakening. Or at least to destroy the Necrons before they come online. But already the ancient machines begin to stir.

To that end, you get a couple of new Kill Teams, starting with the Deathwatch Kill Team. Each operative is pulled from across the Space Marine Chapters, taken for their various specialties. In Tomb World, you’ll get two full teams – with shoulderpads and faces enough to rep a variety of Chapters.

And then there’s the Canoptek Circle, which is two Tomb Crawlers, an Accelerator, a Reanimator, and three Canoptek Circle Warriors, all led by a Geomancer.
But you get more than just those. You also get 10 Necron Warriors and three Scarab Swarms plus an additional set of 25 pieces of Tomb World terrain, consisting of 16 walls and pillars, two wall ends, a sarcophagus, two teleport pads, and four chunks of Tomb World debris.
More Kill Teams

But there’s even more Kill Team goodness coming this week. Four more Kill Team boxes area vailable as their own separate kits, including two that are leaving “Classified Kill Team” and getting repackaged. Butthat ‘s not the case with the Adeptus Mechanicus Battleclade. This kit comes with a Technoarchaeologist, a Servitor Underseer, and eight Servitors that can be built as Gun Servitors, Combat Servitors, or even operatives like Technomedic Servitor or Auto-Proxy Servitor.

Meanwhile, with Kill Team: Raveners, you get a brood of Tyranid terrors. The terrifying Ravener Prime leads the pack, with four specialized Ravener Biomorphs in tow – they can be built as a Wrecker, Tremorscythe, and Venomspitter or standard Ravener Warrior.

Plus what would a Tyranid Kill Team be without a bunch of biomass terrain upgrades for your Killzone. This set has 15 pieces of Tyranid terrain, verything from gestation sacs to capillary towers. If you want your Tyranids to really send home the message that they’re claiming this planet, you’ve got the stuff right here.

The Sisters Novitiate Squad is the first of two sets that are leaving Kill Team and being repackaged for 40K. This set comes with 10 miniatures, a Drill Abbot and several Sisters Novitiate hoping to one day become Battle Sisters.

Meanwhile the Ork Kommandos use their kunnin’ to do all sorts of damage. And this 12 miniatures kit will be available in a traditional 40K package as well, starting next week.
Of course, you’ll also be able to get classic miniatures from two different armies, made-to-order. The MTO window opens Saturday August 30th, and in this batch there are classic Aeldari figures, including Eldrad Ulthuan, Farseer and Warlocks, even the Court of the Young King. Or if you prefer more Marines, there are the classic Emperor’s Children miniatures, including the cloven-hoofed Noise Marine, as well as a Chaos Lord, Lucius the Eternal and Fabius Bile; but the real star of the show are the classic metal Noise Marines with Blastmasters and Sonic Blasters and Doom Sirens.
All this, next week!
