Redditor Ish_Joker shared an astounding Hyborian Age of Conan the Barbarian map to the D&D Maps community.
D&D Maps absolutely was a place to appreciate such impressive cartography. Ther is a Conan RPG, Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of from Modiphius and it uses the 2d20 system.
Conan author Robert E. Howard envisioned the realm as a post-Atlantean, and Hyboria is a contraction of the Greek “Hyperborea”, which means “Beyond the North Wind”. The Hyborian Age followed the Thurian Age.
The map shows the large kingdom of Koth, with its uplands and mountain ranges, the immense Hyrkania and its deserts, which is where Conan the Unconquered was set.
Ish_Joker based their map on multiple sources, drawing on each to help shape this detailed atlas.
