Now seems like a great time to check in on the Rumor Engines from last September to find out what happened to them.
I just wanted to ensure that we got a look at these Rumor Engines from September 2024 before we hit November. Doing them a month late would be really embarrassing, right? That never happens…anyhow, let’s find out where these Rumor Engines ended up!
Always Clean Your Blade – September 9, 2024
Status: Solved
The hand that was holding this blade belonged to a Hobgrot Slittaboss. And we now know they are a part of the Kruelboyz lineup from the Orruk Warclans.
Saw-Tooth Blade – September 10, 2024
Status: Unsolved
Well, it appears we still have an unrevealed Rumor Engine! This is the first one we’ve had in a LONG time. That’s kind of impressive when you think about it. Anyhow, I’m going to stick with my initial assessment on this one. I think it’s an Orruk weapon. We’ll have to wait and see if that one pans out, though. If you’ve got any new guesses, drop us a line in the comments!
Quicksand Trap – September 17, 2024
Status: Solved
The poor soul who got stuck in that much was because of one of the Manifestations from the Orruk Warclans. That’s called a Morkspit Marsh and yeah…that’s still unfortunate (and also gross).

Fire & Flames – September 24, 2024
Status: Solved
Speaking of Manifestations, this one is another one. Only it belongs to the Souldblight Gravelords. More specifically, it’s the gnarly Hand of Nagash spell come to grab the life out of the enemy.
Well, that’s all from last September 2024. I’m pretty curious about that unsolved image. But between the reveals, I kind of like the Hand of Nagash — but I do have two Death Armies so I’m a tad biased. Also it feels like the Hand of Nagash and Foot of Gork should hang out or something. Maybe we can arrange a meet-cute. Eh, we’d probably end up with some sort of Nurgle plague if we did that. I don’t know what to call it though.
Which Rumor Engine from last September is your favorite?
