Beadle & Grimm’s Forgotten Realms Map Vault Collection – I Bet It Will Have a Map of the Sword Coast
Here’s the thing. Beadle & Grimm’s makes fancy accessories for people who want to level up the appearance at their gaming tables. There is nothing wrong with that. Just like there is nothing wrong with hastily sketching out a battlefield on a wet-erase battle grid you’ve been hauling around for years. It’s just a question of how much prep work you want to do beforehand.
If you want a splash of color. A taste of the creative, luxe side of life, Beadle & Grimm’s has got you covered with almost 40 different maps of the various stages of Faerun. Starting with a massive canvas map that serves as an in-world guide to Faerun.
Designed by Francesca Bearald, and printed on a 21″ x 30 ” canvas, this map shows off all of Faerun. It will look gorgeous on your wall, but it’s also resilient enough that you could plop it down on your table and point to where the party is headed without worrying about someone accidentally tearing or spilling something on it.
But that’s just the big centerpiece. There’s something like 36 other pieces to this map vault, including 12 large player maps. These 21″ x 30″ and/or 13″ x 20″ maps show off the important regions of the Forgotten Realms. Specifically it covers the adventures in the upcoming Adventures in Faerun book.
You also get a bunch of full-color battle maps across a variety of adventure locations, types, and levels. If you’re focused on Faerun, you should know there’s two different battle maps for the 1st level adventure. Lost Library of Lethchauntos, with secret areas helpfully removed (assuming there are any).
If you pre-order by the end of October 8th, you can save 10% as part of B&G’s pre-order sale. So if you’re looking to cook up some combats and want a little luxury in your battle maps, Beadle & Grimm’s’ Forgotten Realms map vault should do you nicely.
For everything else, there’s a wet-erase vinyl map out there somewhere!
