Charity Bundles and Sales

Rob Wieland, EN World columnist and game journalist for Forbes, Geek & Sundry, and other outlets plus game designer on Star Wars, World of Darkness, Savage Worlds, and more passed away last week. A GoFundMe has been set up to benefit his partner and daughter, which is close to meeting its $24,000 goal.

On itch.io, Molgannard Press posted the Palestinian Children’s Relief TTRPG Bundle for PCRF featuring over 250 games from over 130 independent designers for one low price. Swan and Raven Studio pulled together a bundle they’re calling a “response to The Horrors”, the HELLO//GOODBYE Charity Bundle for Legal Aid. This bundle has over 200 items with a few video games and other titles, but mostly tabletop roleplaying games including Yazeba’s Bed and Breakfast, Caltrop Core, Trash Pals, Arcology World, Fresh Blood, Sojourn, and a whole lot more.

We have a pair of World of Darkness bundles from Renegade Game Studios and with the news Paradox Interactive, owners of the IP, moving production of the TTRPG line back in-house, this may be the last time to get these titles at such a discount. First up is the Month of Darkness Digital Bundle which starts out with twelve titles including starter adventures for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition, Hunter: the Reckoning 5th Edition, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th Edition plus extra bonus content. The second tier adds 15 more titles including more adventures, sourcebooks, and setting expansions incuidng Children of the Blood, Ash and Bone, Crude Earth, and Revelations of the Dark Mother. The top tier gets you a full library of 57 titles including every core rulebook, sourcebook, adventure, reprint, and more for all three game systems published by Renegade.

Note: Reports from users indicate this bundle is only available in North America, Australia, and New Zealand and users from other regions can’t even access the page from other countries. While not directly a TTRPG bundle, Glen Cook’s Chronicles of the Black Company was a groundbreaking novel series that became a major influence on the fantasy genre including in gaming. The base tier gets you the first book The Black Company, while the second tier completes the original trilogy with Shadows Linger and The White Rose as well as Port of Shadows which fills in the gap between the first and second books (published over three decades later).
