Step into the labyrinthine world of Warframe in an all new Starfinder adventure that puts you in a custom protoframe – available now!

The Starfinder x Warframe team-up announced earlier this summer is finally at hand, folks. And if you missed the announcement, don’t worry, it’s pretty easy to figure out. Starfinder is a sci-fantasy RPG where you fight against ancient threats with sci-fi weapons and gear. Warframe is a game about spending two real-life weeks waiting for your armor to finish compiling. The two were made for each other!

After all, Warframe is, at its heart, a game about bringing swords to as many gunfights as you can. And if you dig into Starfinder, that’s also the strongest play. And now you can see just how well these two properties play together in Operation: Orias.

Starfinder and Warframe Crossover in Operation: Orias

Operation: Orias is a complete standalone adventure for Starfinder. It tries to capture the action-packed setting of Warframe while still making it easy for you to get your orientation in a “lore-rich” world. And that’s putting it lightly. It puts players in the biomechanical skin of four operatives sent to rescue a spy from a Corpus facility. But don’t worry, you’ll get to face off with many more of the enemies of the Warframe universe in this short little adventure.

As you might imagine, the operation quickly goes awry and you go from there. There are four pregen characters included in the adventure, which is perfect for people who don’t know anything about Warframe.

“This collaboration adventure between Digital Extremes and Paizo puts players in the skin of iconic Warframe characters. Play as one of four unique protoframes in this standalone Starfinder Second Edition adventure—the Lotus needs you to rescue a spy from a Corpus research facility teeming with loyal crewmen and MOAs, escaped Infested experiments, and Grineer saboteurs!

This PDF includes an adventure designed for 4-6 hours of play, four premade characters, a primer for Warframe’s setting, and advice for customizing your game. Operation Orias takes place in Warframe’s Origin System featuring characters, enemies, and equipment from the video game, adapted to the tabletop format using the Starfinder Second Edition rules engine. If you’ve ever wanted to play Warframe as a tabletop RPG, now’s your chance!”

In addition to the adventure itself, your purchase also includes a redeemable code for an in-game Glyph for Warframe that represents the Starfinder Society symbol. And of course, in the adventure, you get several items that have been adapted from the video game into the RPG. If one really lands, you can spin it up into a whole homebrew Warframe world. So if you’re a fan of either, but especially if you’re a fan of both games, the adventure is available today!
